Alright I did a search but all the information I'm looking for is scattered all over, so I want to try and get it all in one place.

I'm thinking about getting the Jardine Full Exhaust system.  Along with that I would get a K&N Lunchbox air filter.  The only thing I'm unsure about is the jets for the carbs(I have no carb experience so I'm not even going to try doing that part myself).

So I would like some advice on what jet's to get (2006 GS500F).  If I do get the exhaust/lunchbox/jets I'll have someone who knows there way around carbs do that part.

Thanks for the help.

put it on the Dyno to get the best results, it costs a bit but is well worth it no surges or flat spots :thumb:

I can just test it on the street, no need for a dyno.  I'm really just looking for what jets I should get with the Jardine exhaust and a K&N lunchbox air filter.

Check out the wiki it has loads of information

http://cgi.stanford.edu/~sanjayd/gs500/Upgrades/Rejetting

poke around there and this site for more sources.

I have the jardine full and lunchbox and i went with 22.5/147.5/65, bought them at motorcyclecarbs.com

Remember, elevation will greatly affect which jet sizes you need.

I have checked there, it's just that the information is kinda hard to interpret.  I have actually decided that I'm going to go with a K&N Drop In filter as it's wont require me to take out the air box...would that make any difference over a lunchbox?

My elevation is around 800 feet msl.

the airbox isn't difficult at all to remove.  as for rejetting, the matrix on that site gives you common rejets for different conditions/elevations.  there is also a thread on here with different member's rejet specs according to bike/setup/location so look around for that.
