OK so I'll most likly get laughed right off the board, but it never hurts to ask. I'll trade my light blinkers and the like for your fairing and such. So if you want to trade f stuff for e stuff let me know.

BTW its hard as a mofo to get it to fit on a E. if you dont believe me, ask werase and average ... and I actually had an F to sit and measure stuff from and I still wasn't too thrilled with my work.

after looking at that thread I think I'll just save up for a big windshield or just get an 04+ bike.

Ha ha ... bolt on ...
Lets try this ... I took 2 weeks to do it back in 2005 at the request of se7enty7.
This was what I did.
Take an 04. Take off its fairings. Measure where the threaded holes are and triangulate it with 2 or 3 specific points.
Then get a drill and drill one and weld in an insert there, fit the bracket and fit the fairing on. Make sure the next one will line up with your mark. Take off plastic, drill next one and put in insert. Fit it on. Then locate and weld up the headlight fairing stay. Fit it and make sure the side panels match up. Then repeat the hole drilling and welding of the inserts, till you get all 6-7 per side on.
Made easier with an 04 sitting around. Which I had only for a part of the time.
