I have a pair of pirelli sport deamons that I used once on the track and a few miles on the street. They both have plenty of tread and are size  110/70-17 and 140/70-17.

The problem is the rear tire has small "nick" type mark in the bead. It only is on outer surface of the tire and I am not sure if it would have issues with sealing or what not. I believe it resulted from the tire changer and his tire iron thingy. That is why they are free, I don't want to sell them to someone and turns out that it might be bad.

Therefore, just pay the shipping and donate $5(http://www.gstwin.com/gstwin_donation.htm) to the GSTwin forum and they are yours. I am just trying to give back a bit to the forum. The other exclusion is that it will go to the person with the highest post count who has replied to this thread by 3:30PM CST on Sunday April 19.

If someone could assure these tires would be road worthy then I would deffinitly take them off your hands !  I just don't know enough about bike tires at this time, I'd just hate to waist off the resources to have them shipped, and then only to then take to the transfer staion. Can anyone give me some feedback on their condition before I toss my hat into the ring?.-- Jim

They are definitely road worthy, the only thing the nick in the bead seating area would be a slow leak.

I would only expect about $25 tops for shipping.

hey bud.

I take you up on your offer for shipping and I'll donate $10.00 to GS Twins.  I'm in Houston, but we can minimize shipping to my dad's IL home in 62249 zip code.

Hou 'bout it?

Thanks, coll0412; didn't really think I'd get a shot at those things.  I'll take them, because I've got an extra set of wheels that need rubber... I'll PM you an address to send them to, so we can work out the details and costs of shipping, and I'll make a donation to GSTwins.com to uphold that part of the deal.

Thanks again; those naked wheels have been waiting for tires for a while now...
