I gues that I will be making a phone call to my in-law to pick me one up since he gets a discount for working there. Thanks to everyone and their replies. -- JIM :)

For people that have a battery tender do you have to diaconnect the battery from the motor cycles electrical system? Secondly my tender came with a set of leads that I can permanently attach to the Bat. an tuck them under the seat when not in use, is this safe to do??-- JIM :)

Schumacher 1.5 amp Battery Companion Model 1562A available at Walmart for $18.44. You do not need to disconnect the battery from the bike when attached to the tender. In fact, I installed the ring connectors, and tucked the harness out the side of the frame (near your right knee) so that the seat doesn't even need to be removed. Just plug it in, and of course, remember to UNPLUG it in the morning!  :icon_rolleyes:

+1 on the battery tender jr. I have one, and I just plug the bike in after every ride.
