GS500F Spark Plug Change Q

I'm going to be doing the plugs on the bike this weekend and make sure I have everything.  The bike only needs 2 spark plugs right? Seems silly but I keep thinking 4 for some reason.  Do both side fairings need to come off to get the plugs off?

2 plugs only and i'm not sure if fairings come off mine was naked

yes, the fairing need to come off    or you need to have a robot arm that can bend in many places
