best tires

hey i am in need of a new rear tire and i was wondering what the best tire for my stock gs was i would like something a little bit stickier than stock any suggestions?

What tires are on your bike now.It's dangerous to mix certain types of tires.Mainly radials and bias ply tires do not mingle well.

Stock tires for GS thru 02 was Excedras and since 04 it's BT45s, already an improvement in sticky.

Latest bias Demons, Lasertecs, and Activs should be stickier. Sport touring radials a bit sticker yet and supersport radials the stickiest of all except race tires. Sticky and tire life are usually a trade off but not as much as previously with newest compounds.

I have Shinko 005's 120-60-17 front 160-60-17 rear.If I ever finish my bike I'll write up a review on them.

I use Avon Azaro St Av45 110/80-17 Z rated front and Av46 140/80-17 Z rated Rear

I Just LOVE the sticky on dry and how well water flows away from tire.

I have Avon Roadriders, am26 I believe. I'm very happy with the tires and they were reasonably priced too.
