So, I'm trying to ship my tank but I can't seem to get all of the remaining fuel out, whats the best way to go about this and is there any additional steps I need to take before I can ship?

I removed the petcock thing on the bottom and I am going to remove the filler cap, but I tried to get as much out as possible but it's hard because of all the nooks and crannies, I'm just letting it air dry now, but there is a good amount of gas still in there.  Suggestions??

Tear up a towel into a 3-4 inch wide strips, Like one looooong strip. The edge seam will connect adjacent strips. Then hold one end and stuff the other in. Slosh like crazy and sit it nose down for 10 mins or so. Then yank the towel out with the end you're holding. Squeeze the gas out. Repeat till dry towel comes out.
Cool.

I used a hand pumped siphon I got at the hardware store. worked pretty well. it didn't get every last drop of fuel but definitely most of it. then I used shop towels to soak up what remained but there wasn't much.

not sure about shipping, I did it for the tank rust treatment.

Sounds good, I think I might try both of those methods and siphon the gas out first (there is a good amount of it) and then towel the rest out and let it air dry for a day or two to ensure that it's all gone.
