Yea its called AudioSurf or something similar. You play the song by dodging the blank boxes and picking up the coloured boxes as you ride the notes so to speak. If you watch the video nearly everything he does is in time with the song because hes playing the song by hitting the notes at the right time! As you can imagine though the faster and more complex the song the harder it is to play it without it sounding like one big undefined mess of noise!
