I want to say yes, but I just looked at the microfiche on bikebandit and they have different part numbers :dunno_white:  Maybe they changed the mounting tabs or something?

If the 98 has squarish body work then yes they will fit.If it has the rounded tail then no.I'm not sure what year zuki started using the rounded tails on the GS.

2001.
2000 and earlier have square tail. :thumb:

01+ are compatible.

Cool, so I was sort of right.  The different part #s threw me off...maybe they come with decals or in certain colors?

Hehe, I knew that :) I guess what I meant was maybe the different part numbers reflected different colors/decals...
