The problems I was having with my bike have been solved. The bike sounded like a harley with misfires and when I turned the throttle it would sputter cough and die.

I tore the carbs apart after checking the float heights, spark plugs, coil, air screw, etc.... The "spring seat" on the left needle valve had fallen off the needle and was allowing the needle to jump all over the place dumping gas like crazy. Put it back on and she runs like a champ.

Mods are K&N pod, drilled exhaust, and 15T front sprocket with 150 mains / 40 pilot nonbleeder / 1 #4 washer

Doesnt run rich with the 150's? I have the pod filter and nothing else done and am using 140's 2 washers and the 40 pilots. My mix screws are turned out 2.5 turns.

I need to check my plugs and see how they are but otherwise mine runs great also.

The plugs are a nice brown color right now so I would say it is just about right. Full throttle may be a little rich (150), but the mid range feels good (1 #4 washer). When I upgrade the exhaust I will probably put another (2 total) #4 washer in.
