Actually it'd be the 4th Annual B.A.GS ride...which usually happens in August.

But, Rich's memorial ride is to be held in June of every year, we just need to set a date.

I know this is short notice, but the only days I have available are the 1st or the 8th (of June); both are Sundays.

Route is currently open to suggestions.

I linky this discussion: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=40539.0

But, please reply to this thread for Rich's ride on either the 1st or the 8th.

I'm in for either the 1st or 8th! 1st sounds good, cuz then it comes sooner!!!  :icon_mrgreen:

Just not the weekend before my first track day, which is June 24th...  :icon_lol:

Frontside & backside of 9? Pescadero? Page Mill rocks! Any route sounds good! Bring it all on!!!!

That's right, I forgot about the frontside of 9, it's a wonderful road, I know it like the back of my hand, up and down!  If we included that in the ride, it would be after four corners, essensially at the end of the ride.  But, once in town, there's a parking lot on the right that we could pull into, loop around, and then go back up 9 and across 35 for an early dinner at Alice's.  Hmmm....

There's also old San Jose road if we wanted to be different and go toward Santa Cruz that way.... I just road it for the first time last weekend, and it was fun...and gorgeous!  :icon_mrgreen:

P.S. I hope Bob can make it! I'd love to glue myself to his butt. I'm up for the challenge now!
P.P.S. And if Bob has a ride up north, I'm absolutely, positively *IN*. Of course you in, too, aren't you scratch and sanjay??  :icon_mrgreen:

Either date works for me!  Sorry for not posting about it sooner, Scratch.  I've been busy tracking down a carb issue (idles fine, dies when given throttle) and helping my buddy with his first bike (2006 GS that we're converting to naked, woo).

Just pinpoint the date.
I'll make sure I have something to ride If my GS isn't together.
Gotta swap motors before the ride.

Is 'Four Corners' at 9am allright?  We'll go across 35 to Alice's, maybe stop, then head down 84 towards La Honda.

Hows about 9:30ish :o

That way I can leave my house at 8:00 am to get there around that time :icon_mrgreen:

I could use your cell # in case I have a problem on the way :dunno_white:

pronator

Bob's going to be there?!  :o Oh, I'm gonna try very, very hard to make this ride. I have one of Bob's ignition advancers in my bike!  And we graduated from the same high school...though a few years apart.

I hope I'll get to meet and ride with you guys!

pandy

If anyone wants to meet at the Saratoga 76 station and take 9 up to 4-corners, I'd meet 'em!  :icon_mrgreen:

That looks like an awesome route! You're hired! ;)  :icon_mrgreen:

Hope you'll be able to join us, pronator! If so, let me know, and I'll be happy to meet you around 101/wherever and go up to Alice's with ya'!

I still think I'm gonna park across the street at STP, though....cuz I just KNOW I'll pandy my bike if I try to park in front of Alice's.....  :cookoo:

My new cell # that I can't remember: 408-230-2048

9:30am it is!  That's at the top of 9 and 35, again.

Pandy, I actually prefer parking across the street from Alice's as well; there's more room, too.  Also, I can meet you at the bottom of 9 at the 76 station as well.  But, you're coming from up north, wouldn't it be easier if you came up Woodside, and met us at Alice's?

Pronator - Yep, that's the route!  Hope I'll see you there!  Note: if I miss Ice Cream Grade, we can always take a right at the top of Pine Flat onto Empire and make a left onto Felton Grade (which we've done before).  But, Ice Cream Grade would be a safer route and prevent us from loosing anybody.

Actually, yeah, I'll meet y'all up at 4-corners @ 9:30am since the ride starts so early! :p

Are we meeting and breakfasting, or are we eating first and then meeting and riding immediately?
