I'm sellling my 89 to pay for my other habit, which happens to be jeeps. Its an 89 GSE 500. It has been garaged its entire life and is almost completely rust free. I rode it a few miles before it got too cold. Rebuilt the carbs over the winter, but I must have done something wrong ( I don't believe I did) but its leaking gas. The underside of the gas tank, as well as the inside are in near perfect shape. Its got 13,000 miles on it.

Its missing side view mirrors, and the cable to release the seat is busted (easy fix). I also do not have the title. I bought it with the intention of titling it and riding it, but my jeep is too much of a money pit. I carfaxed it and it is NOT stolen, I just don't have the title. The carfax came back clean and i have a copy of it upon request. I don't want to part it out. Price is 700$ I don't know what GS sales are like, so if its a high price please let me know and I'll adjust accordingly. Considering the condition I thought its a fair price.

Where are you located?

Sorry forgot to list that. Hartford CT.

too bad you're >1000 miles away, or I'd get it.

looks like a nice bike, if anyone can title it.

kinda odd that it has a new chain, but only 13,000 miles on it. :|

and the harley tires prolly won't be much fun to lean with... but it's a nice looking bike :)

Free bump, I can't blame you for your other habit.  Until somebody decided to park their car into the side of mine at 50mph, I'd still have my wrangler.  But alas, it allowed me to buy a truck and a bike with the insurance money, so it all worked out.
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

I do no know who it was. The carfax said it was last registered in Springfield, MA which is only a few minutes from my town.
