I just ordered the clutch levers from the ebay sight www.clutchlevers.com, and it was a great transaction.  I ordered the carbon fiber ones by recommendation of the guy with the sig who has a fonzie look with tinted glasses, (forgot name) And to my surprise, everybody said they don't make a clutch lever and brake lever that fit.  I put both in the stock spot and they fit flawless.  They even had a spot for the clutch switch for the idiots who try to start their bike in gear.  I don't have time for now but I'll get pics up later.  The brake lever went in and looks great.  I also got an msr pro raptor shifter and perch for 43 bucks but now I've got a stock perch and aftermarket.  I at least want to try out the msr before moving on as they said a 325% less shifter pull with it installed.  Well just throwing props out to that guy as it was a great deal for 25 bucks shipped to my door in 3 days.

Not sure who everybody is... but no other bike shares the same clutch lever as the GS. The clutch lever is specific to the GS.
Common sense in not very common.

Wow I'll have to look into them. If I can get an easy pull clutch that works with the clutch interlock switch that would be awesome, not to mention when you go easy pull the narrow friction zone is expanded to make launching easier especially since I'm geared higher with an 18 tooth front sprocket.

Well I'm still confused by GS levers, all I wanted was a brake lever to replace a broken one.  According to the oem parts fiches the 2002 GS500 and the 2002 SV650 both took a 57300-33E01 brake lever and they were about $40.  Wow!

I checked Motion Pro and they didn't have a 02 GS brake lever, only had the 89-00 brake levers for GS500E.  They had a 14-0415 lever to fit the 02 SV and Suzi fiches said they were the same so I bought one for $22 and it didn't fit my 02 GS.  Installed it didn't touch both the cylinder rod and light switch at the same time, had to push it forward to shut off stoplight.

Well I took apart the new lever and the old broken lever by driving out the pivot bushing and reassembled it with the new lever part and the old pivot part and it fit and worked perfectly, looked good too, and I was happy!

Now I'm looking at the www.clutchlevers.com E-Bay link above and they show a carbon fiber set of levers that fit all years 89-08 of GS500 and must be the set bombadillo bought and that fit his 91 GS.  That link also shows a chrome brake lever only for $10 to fit GS, Bandits, and Busas.  It says fits 01-08 GS500 so there seems to be one brake lever for 89-00 and another for 01-08 GS models and a carbon fiber set that fits all years.  What gives?

407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

Well, the ones that I got looks to share with something else.  The clutch lever went right into place and it was perfect.  I tried it out and even put the perch on a bar off the bike and it works fine.  The brake lever, was a bit snug, but with a little elbow grease, it fit great, hit the piston fine and doesn't appear to not work on the switch to keep my tail light on all the time.  I'd give him a shot again.  He shipped quick and parts are a whole lot cheaper than forty bucks for one single lever.  He also makes other colors too.
