do those acewell guages light up at night?

Yep , they light up blue , there on all the time , but its the same effect as a light on ur watch , u dont see it until its dark

its ussually the speedo sensor/drive that is the problem , the pre 97 katana's share the same front wheel as the Gs , so its just a case of using the gs speedo cable and putting it in the katana wheel , and of couse the engines the same so the tach works , i think its why the kat front end is so popular , i no Dgyver has used SV650s gauges

He he ... my eliminator used to have guages that fluctuated wildly. Just speedo, then I saw that it had a homemade guage mount. Like someone bolted it on with an L shaped piece ... The stock ear was broken on the guage cup. So he screwed it to the little tab that was left and fitted it somewhere ... I fabbed and got that stock style thing welded on, and it stopped vibrating. That on a 4 cyl buttery smooth bike.
