F/S....Stock BT45 Front Tire

I have a stock BT45 front off of an '04 F.  I don't have a tread gauge, but the old penny test shows an average of about 3mm (almost 4mm in some places) still left in the center groove.  I bought the bike used a month ago and assume it was the original stock tire.

The tire looks great.  The previous owner used the bike to commute about 40 miles to and from work.  He wasn't by any means a 'twisty' rider (not that we have any of those in Central Oklahoma anyway  ), so the edges of the tires still look nearly new despite having about 6500 miles on them.  I'll try to get a couple of pics tonight, if I can figure out where the wife put the digital camera!

Allright, got a couple of pics.  I gotta get a tread gauge to verify my depth estimate because these tires still look pretty darn decent in the middle.  The last pic turned out a little blurry and doesn't do it justice.
