I swapped out my 07 500f bars to superbike bars with pro grips 719's. Did the fenderectomy. Springs are the only mod left i have any desire to upgrade. Im planning on ordering springs next week. I dont have car and drive 10 miles each way though la city streets to work. I drive my gs like its a sports bike, and im tired of the brake dive and bottoming out the forks on the potholes i get screwed into jamming on. Im 6'1 and weigh about 165, so im assuming 180 or so with gear. From what ive read using the search function, i wouldnt be happy with progressive springs.

Anyone with a similar style and body weight commute through urban environments with sonic springs? What size did you chose? What would you recommend?

Why do you think Progressives wouldn't be good? The streets is where the progressives shine. The others are straight rate springs and must be matched to the bike's weight plus your weight.Good for track but so so on the streets.I had progressive in my GS front end and 15w oil.I am 205 lbs in my gear and the progressives were wonderful in the mountains.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

You want 0.80kg/mm straight rate springs, or 0.85kg/mm for aggressive/track use.  I use 0.90kg/mm for my 180lb self, and it rocks on street and track.  Very smooth and predictable.
