I totally give up on this bike. Anyone know a good mechanic in the LA area? I'm about an hour north of LA in rosamond ca, so I would prefer to not drive to orange county, but I will if i have to. I got screwed when I bought the bike and it never ran right. I'm now on the third head for the bike, and this one is finally usable. Got the valves adjusted (3 are perfect, one exhaust valve is a little loose). Put everything back together, got the cams back in and timed correctly, 18 teeth apart on the chain. Crank it over and all I get is a huge backfire out of the exhaust. If no one knows a good mechanic, I'm open to offers for someone to take the bike away.

As far as mechanics go I do most of my own work on my GS but if I cant figure it out I take it to a shop in gardena the cross street is prarie amd 136th I think. If you dont get it running Ill take it off your hands.
