paint opinions?

Gotta have something on the bike to ride it, its purple now with a few touchup spots from the PO.

Ok so now what ... I have assorted bodywork colors, and a tank in silver that has a very fixable dent, an unknown dent that has been filled wiht bondo under the paint, and silver bodywork to match. Very light rust inside the tank. I can fix it but once its fixed it keeds to be kept full of gas...else it will rust. I cant really coat it just yet. I dont want to paint it cos I am not doing a rattle can ever...Its getting a real paint job if I ever paint it. How good is your paint on the purple...how many touch up spots and where and what have they been touched with.

There are about 5 or 6 "chips" where something was dropped on the tank or rocks chipped the paint off the spots are about 1/4 pinky nail size. I got a touchup pen from colorite and did it but the pen is a tad darker since the paint is 8 years weathered. The other scratches are where the black grab rail and the plastic meet, hard to see unless you remove the seat and the plastic. from the bike and one on the very back edge about 1" long or its just black rubbed onto it from when I had my stock bar strapped to the back of my bike to deliver it. I can take closeup shot of everything. My tank inside has the typical GS rust and hasnt been coated no dents of any kind tho so if we are to trade I want a tank with no dents etc. Is the silver factory or rattle can or what?

Its got dents, 1 is very shallow and I may be able to pull it, the other/s is unknown as it has been bondoed over and rattle canned...Yea it needs painting...
