I took off from a friends place last night he was on an gsxr1000 I was on a GSXR600 just test riding it for a friend..lol only if he knew ,pulled out in the road posted speed is 35 took it to 40MPH in 2nd gear pulled cluch in  tach read 12K droped the cluch front wheel came up nice held it for about 1000 feet sat it down looked over to my left  ..............." OHHHH CHIT"  COP........  he pulled me over and talked to me about what I just did he ran my ID he came back and we talked alittle more and he said to me "HAVE A NICE DAY" and keep both wheels on the ground. I was shocked.  he has a bike also but wont do stunts. Guess he liked the show

I've heard alot of stories of cops letting motorcycles go from friends
here.  Where were you at when you got pulled over?  My friend said some
state cops have let him go doing over 100mph on the e-way on his ducati.

BTW:  how was the gsxr 600?  I'm thinking of buying that or an sv650 next year.  Not too sure yet.  If insurance isn't too much different I might just get the gsxr-600.  Let me know what you thought of it?

I got clocked at 27 over last week and the guy gave me a ticket
for ten over and said "That's for not trying to escape"

He did write 7:40pm on the ticket and it was before 6pm

I've been going to hooter's bike night here and looking at all the nice bikes..decisions decisions.  SV650S with lower fairing, F4i, YZF600....GSXR600?

The SV650 Is a lot like the GS not to fast and not to slow If i remember right top speed is like 128 or so and it gets there a little faster the the GS the GSXR600 Is FAST top speed on the bike that i was on is 179 and I know that for a fact and only takes about a mile or so to reach that speed and the GSXR is a superbike not a road bike

There a big differnce between the SV and the GSXR

Im real big in to stunting and planing to buy in the spring eather a R1,GSXR750 or a GSXR1000

Well I think it might depend on insurance rates.  If the sv650s is alot lower than the 600 then I'll probably buy that.  I'm in to speed so the gsxr's 179 sounds much better than 128 but I've only gone the 108 on the gs500.  I once rode my friends cbr929 and was suprised on how comfortable it was.  Thats when I started thinking of the gsxr.  I'll probably stick to a suzuki since I bought a $250 dollar suzuki jacket.  Thanks for the info though maybe I'll see you around ann arbor sometime. I'm going to the game Saturday but I'm parking at my sisters apartment off of industrial.  Later
