2004 turn signal switch

My right turn signal switch is very hard to move and will get stuck when the signal kicks on.  Is there a way to take the handle bar bracket apart?  I took a look at it and don't think its possible.  I want to open it up and see whats causing the issue.

two phillips screws on the bottom ?

I was able to take a peak through a repair manual, when I was looking at at the bottom of the handle car switch I thought only 1 bolt held it on.  I thought that second bolt held the choke cable in.  I will give it a try tomorrow.

Got it apart, can't believe it was that simple.  Anyways There was a little piece of brass that acts as a plate to give the spring tension on the turn signal switch.  This piece had become bent from the force of the spring I was able to bend it into shape.  I also added a bigger washer on the bolt that holds the switch.  Everything is working fine now.

spray a little contact cleaner (or WD-40) in there occasionally to push the water out. it won't lube it much, but getting the water out helps.
