PICS are GONE never TO return.

Thanks ben2go: I did have a good look at those threads. Really helped. Initially I was thinking about push-starting and running this till September, then opening it. I guess by then, the whole thing would have been shattered and destroyed everything around  :2guns: Lucky I did it yesterday.

So now, It is clear that I need a fancy tool to take that rotor assembly off. Stalwart's tool looks way too over complicated for me. I plan to go to some hardware store and get a M14x1.5mm bolt which is 3-4 inches long and a 1.5 inch spacer to get that off.

Once that is done and inspected I will post some pictures. I am still hoping that I can just take it off and then, coat it with some fresh epoxy and then rebuild that assembly. Let's see. All in all sounds like fun.

Ok folks! it is all solved now. Replaced the rotor, starter clutch, driven gear from another bike which had 20k miles on it. Now, everything works  :thumb:
Back to gud'ol days

Thanks all for the suggestions and the tips. tricks, etc, etc
Special thanks to nikux for letting me use his rotor, starter clutch, driven gear from the seized engine. (helps to have a seized engine around )
Special thanks to Buddha for letting me use his slide hammer without which the whole process would not have been possible.
