Hello from Merry Ol' England!

This is my first post but one of which i really need help with, im only 17 and recently passed my bike test, bought a GS500e from someone of which was to be my new project bike.

Well this project is almost completed and now i only need to locate sprocket studs/bolts.

It's proving impossible here in england and i need a pretty instant replacement.

Would it be ok to use a normal nut and bolt (of the correct dimensiions of course) as a substiture until i can locate the correct part?

Some of you may know, but the sprocket 'stud' as it's know has a unique shape so as to lock it in place and stop it from spinning, i can't see any real reason for this so presume its just to make fitting new sprockets easier, rather than removing the whole cush drive to do so.

Should be able to get em from the dealer... We have them for about $1.50 each

Shipping from here to you would be more than the bolts, but if you need em I can get em.

Are you needing just the bolts?  I've got a complete cush drive I'd be happy to make you a reasonable deal on.
