What would be the best way to bend this back?

When I took my first spill on the bike I also made a custom rear brake lever (simultaneously).   Now, I think I want to go back to the stock position. I'm basically looking for a way to get the rear brake lever off of the bike so I can straigthen it. Any suggestions?

put a piece of wood behind it t brace it against the frame, take a wrench and bend it back.

When you made and fitted the custom part how did you get the original one off?  When its off the bike, hold it in a vise, heat it until its cherry-red with a gas-torch then gently bend it back into shape. Bending it cold could crack, even shear the metal

Is the rear brake lever held on with an e-clip or is it bolted on a greased roller?  sorry, don't remember, it's been a while.  From the photo, it looks like it's held on via an e-clip.  A steady hand and edged striking tools work wonders on those (pry the clip off with a screw driver.....carefully by pushing the open edges of it)

Well I found out that it's bolted.. That was a fun experience. Now I know how to disassemable and reassemble the rear brake system. lol It's back to being boring stock shape
