How to tell if my bike is lowered

My buddy has a Ninja 650, which is supposed to be the same seat height as my GS, but it looks a couple inches taller. Is there an easy way to see if mine is lowered? If I had my druthers I'd lift it an inch or so anyways, because my knees are pretty scrunched when I'm on it.

Here's the best shot I have of it, I can take more this weekend:

Looks stock to me.  you could up your preload on the rear spring and that will raise it a bit, and help a lot with the ride quality.  Check your dog bones, make sure they are stock...if not, then it could have been lowered.  Looks like a stock seat, so it doesn't appear to be modified.

Are your legs crunched up when riding, or when your feet are planted on the ground.  If lowered by the dogbones, or rear shock, then it wouldn't change the amount you'd be crunched during riding.  If lowered by modifying the seat, then it would change while riding.

It's stock.Adjusting the suspension has nothing to do with the distance between the seat and foot pegs.If you'd like a taller rear just bolt in an SV shock. Here's the link.

thanks for the info guy. I guess I'll just have to deal with the short peg distance.

You could add foam to your seat and recover it.That will get you 1 to 2 inches higher over the pegs.

Go to the how to section on installing aftermarket footpegs, that will drop the peg about 1/2 or maybe 3/4 of a inch, doesnt sound like much but it really is.
It is hard to tell from a photo if it is lowered or not, I have lowered mine, measure your dogbone links and I will measure the stock ones I have in my parts bin.

If it was lowered you wouldn't see as much of the top of rear tire and the tail would look to low for the front from that angle.
