1st Post, how much to offer for an 08 gs500

This is going to be my first bike and I know the MSRP is 5,199,  I have the cash to pay for it but I have never bought a new car/bike before.  Help me out guys on what to offer for the 08 and ball park of what I should pay total and any "tricks" involved with the sale.

I've never purchased a bike from a dealer either, but since it's not a private seller I wouldn't feel bad about trying to lowball them. Obviously they won't except your low ball, but it gives you a good starting point to get a decent OTD price.

you offer him 4750 in cash,. if not you try get some extra's on it, fairings, gps, abs, radar detector, tank full of gas stuff like that,..but don't let the bike go!

Just mention a dealer from ...... said he would let it go for ........ and that ur shopping around ....  And mention u have cash on u right now ,  Money says Sale , Money says another number on the board

IMHO.New $4500.Used in new condition under 5000 miles $4000 to $4200.Dropped or over 5000 miles $3500 to $3800.

I bought mine new in July of 07, OTD $4400, tax and tag included and a Scorpion EXO400 in black to seal the deal. Was it a great deal, I think so and in the end thats all that really matters, if you can live with the figure he gives you.
