kinda new guy with 89

Been lingering around and asking questions, bought the bike about 3 months ago, figured I would post some pics from when I got it (I am such a procrastinator) and post some later after I take it down for the fall.

This fall I'm hoping, can't plan do to work, to tear it completely down, clean and paint the frame charcoal, paint the tank and plastics black and give it the old school Mustang strips. Thinking white stripes, but may glitz it up a bit with a pearl or something off the wall not sure yet.

Just wanted to throw out a thanks to all who have responded to my posts, The bike is running awesome now. Still need to do the valves, replace the chain, clean the carbs, and Clean the tank (it is solid on the bottom). WIKIs are great. Still need to get the bar ends, but only need the screws.
