Hi All,

I own a 2006 Suzuki  GS500, it has 6400 miles and I been having it for 4 months now. I only drive it to my park and ride ( about 10-15 miles per day) as I left the park and ride yesterday, half way home at 70mph it started to die on me. I pulled over thinking it was a fuel issue, I changed it to the Reserve fuel and it would not start, I placed it back to "On" fuel and suddenly started, still thinking it was a fuel issue, I changed it back to Reserve fuel and drove home. On my way, at the stop/light intersections, I had to constantly accelerate because felt like it wanted to die on me again. So I made it home, I turned it off, but now wont start, neither in Reserve Fuel, ON fuel, I already primed it to and no response. I also stimate that I have atleast 1/2 tank of gas.

Number two, there is 3 rubber/plastic lines on the right bottom side of the Bike, on the back of the crank case, sort of like discharge/purge/vaccum lines. Two of them are open, like a straw per say, the third one seems like a bubbled type end hose, this hose was leaking fuel constantly, if you squezze it it sprays fuel, I put a clamp on it because I dont want my fuel to drain completely, what is this line, does it supoose to have a rupture, or is it an oppening to vent?

Whats wrong with my Bike? It hurts :dunno_white:

The line draining fuel with the cap is the drain for the air box.Your carb floats are hung open allowing to much fuel in and flooding the engine. You will need to fix the carbs and change the oil.The fuel also runs into the cylinders, past the pistons and down into the oil.I wouldn't attempt to ride again until this is sorted out. Here's links to help.
