I searhced, but didn't find my answer(I'm also kinda lazy)

Where should my tach needle be when riding around to on my bike? I remember someone saying to cruise at about 5k, but I could be mistaken. Also, when should I be shifting on my GS? Thanks alot in advance!

4-5k seems to be most comfortable for me, I get a lot of vibration around 6k and above that I doubt would be very fuel efficient.

Search "rpm"...it'll turn up a lot of discussions. Some of the more relevant ones:

I shift around the torque peak at 9k RPM.

I cruise in 6th if the road speed is above 60 MPH

In town, 4-6k except after dark, then 3-4k on flat sections.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

I found what I needed I think. I've been keeping it at 5k and shifting at 7-8.5k.

You want to be able to downshift, or rev the crap out of it, to either set yourself up for a turn or to move out of the way quickly. All while charging the battery. 5k cruising sounds good.
