...to fit to my GS750.  The PO really screwed up my carbs and I really am not a big fan of mikuni flatsides...or mikuni in general.  If anyone has any laying about I would be greatly appreciative!

Sorry I don't have anything that would help but I do have a question:

Why would a carb need to be oil cooled?  Or am I being a noob and missing something?

He needs carbs from an oil cooled engine. The carbs aren't oil cooled. He is looking for 1st generation GSXR carbs. They're easier to tune and don't suffer from lag like the flat slide carbs.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Thegsresource has been hit and miss with me...there seems to be a lot of friendly people there who just don't have the information and a lot of people there with lots of information that like post saying "you could find it if you searched".

I might have to hit dgyver up...I like the flats, I just don't know how to tune them and the PO has them all f%&ked up.

ok I still really want a set of gsxr carbs but the situation has changed a bit.  The previous owner, or one of them, has two of the adjustment screws stripped and damaged.  I now need a new throttle body...but would prefer to find any set of Suzuki CV 36mm carbs for an early 80's/late 70's GS750, 1100, 1000, 850, or compatible.

92 750 was water cooled, the katana is like the GS - 33, but that was the general idea behind me asking him about 33 ... No idea about the 1100.

I think the US only got the oil cooled GSXR in 92...that's not the point, though.  I need california carbs because they are 36mm...everywhere else they are 38mm.

The 1100 carbs would be absolutely perfect.  I'm going to speak with that fellow...

90 and up 750 GSXR was water cooled. 92 and up 1100 was water cooled as well.
With both these bikes the way to remember is, Upside down forks = water cooled. maybe 91 and up on 750 and 93 for 1100.
There was a couple years of the 1127 that had shim over bucket valves, maybe 91 and 92, 89 and 90 was threaded adjusters. BTW get me a set of 38's and I'll trade you my 36's. I'll even pay both ways shipping. better yet, get me the 40's that went on canadian bikes.  :thumb:
