What's a good method of getting rid of the decals on my 89 GS? I want to paint it down afterward of coarse. Any chemicals I could use?

fred

If you're painting it anyways, can't you just sand them off when you prep for paint?

they're clear coated over, so stripping would mean sanding. on the tank anyway, i don't know about the rear plastics. mine are naked, but i didn't remove them.
