:mad:May 30 I ordered my pilots and jets from motorcyclecarbs.com, after 7 days I called to check the status and the order hadn't ever been processed yet. I complained and they promised me it would be shipped that day. Another week goes by, emails tell me there i one #65 main they have to order  :mad:Why hasn't this been ordered a week ago?? Another week goes by, I'm furious, I must have recieved a dozen goodies for the bike in the time I have been waiting for these, insatalled, just waiting for these parts!! I really needed these by this weekend, a bunch of friends and me were going to got to this nearby Speed Park and do some track runs, I have been building up the GS as this bad cornering machine, so much wrench time in the last month and now I haven't even started it to hear the new full jardine exhaust very frustrating. Anyway, I payed another 15 bucks to get it overnighted to my house, this was Thursday Afternoon, its now 5:00 Saturday and no package, these assholes probably didn't get the package there until late Friday. I don't get this, all I'm trying to say is a warning to all my fellow GS'ers out there NOT TO USE MOTORCYCLECARBS.COM unless you want crappy customer services for overpriced parts that take 30 days to get to your door, now i'm nervous these hillbillies even got the right pilots for me, looks like another weekend with no ridin!!

bummer man. You might want to order from bikebandit.com if you want prompt service. They will mail you out the parts they have right away and mail the rest when they get it. Plus they only charge for shipping once.

Why didn't you just go to the dealer and buy them for $5 a piece?

The Buddha

I recomend buddha too, OK usually he doesn't ship that quick ... but never mind ...

Mak - dealers parts clowns have to be given regular beatings if they should get parts for the  low end bikes like the GS. I have 3-4 that start to get itchy if I dont get there and beat them. Just today I had to for 2 of them, one of them gave me some flak about cutting keys ... they haven't heard from him since.  :thumb:
Cool.
Buddha.

I'm lucky to have a good dealer....a KTM/Aprilia dealer.  they always know what the parts are and have them or they can get them in very short order.  Even for the GS...even obscure delorto and weber carburetors...

Well I was recommended the website by our fellow gstwin'ers. I gonna change the wiki because I don't want anyone else to go through these jerkoffs. Maybe I'll go with Buddha next time.  I sent them a paypal invoice for the overnight delivery charge and another one for the track money I lost, we'll see if that gets me anything. Its a beautiful day in South Florida, really wish I had my damn bike!!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience :( Unfortunately, I think others here have had similarly poor results:

I agree that you should change the wiki. Or at least add a note/comment for reference.
