Yoshimura full on an 04?

The Yoshimura full system does not fit the 2004+ F models due to interference between the oil pan bolts and the headers. The system needs to be dropped or removed in order to change the oil

My question is, is it saying that it wont work because you have to drop it in order to change the oil or it just wont work period?
  Thanks,

Those are two separate statements. The system will hit the hit the oil pan on a F model. You also have to drop it to change the oil filter on the models that it does fit.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct, the exhaust will still probably bolt up, but you will have to remove for every oil change. How about a Vance and Hines full or the Jardine RT1 full, that's what I have, sounds amazing!

I know I tried to use an older Yoshimura system and it didn't even come close to working.

Changing the oil is the problem, if you can even call it that. My vance & hines stupersport needs to be loosened at the headers, then rotated down an inch or so. Takes about 30 seconds to loosen/tighten either way.

Make sure you use the utmost care when changing your oil. Those filter cap studs are made of rejected cheese !

I haven't hear of any problems with the yoshi system. FrankiG had one on one of his bikes.Maybe the 07F.The Vance and Hines narrows as it goes down to make the turn under the engine. This makes if difficult to remove the oil filter and cover.

The problem with mine was that it hit the oil pan where the cooler lines went in, which changed the angle at the head so it wouldn't ever seal. It could have been modified, but I didn't feel like doing it.

Would using 2 header gaskets per side clear up the innerference?

I don't think so. It was pretty far off.

Some one used split headers from an old GS400 or GS450.One header for each side, just add mufflers.
