Last week I felt I had to let members know about a transaction through www.motorcyclecarbs.com I made, basically it took over 3 weeks to get 6 jets I ordered. They had a server crash and I really felt like I was being jerked around, just for some little parts, emails and phone calls a few times didn't speed anything up, anyway I wasn't happy. I payed overnight shipping and it still didn't come, I sent a pretty nasty email and an invoice back to them for the shipping cost, I told them about this forum because others had similar bad experiences and after all the wiki is what led me to them. Here is the email I got this morning.(I'll spare you the others)

Matt: I have credited you the difference in the shipping fees.

Out of curiosity about this GStwins.com site I researched what you were talking about.

I wish I would have known that you guys buy that many of that kind of jet. Normally we try to stock what the market volume bears. Had I known that we were a suggested vendor we would have made sure we keep those jets in stock.
All you have to do is let us know that you all are pointing to us for certain parts and we would be happy to make sure we stay in stock. When we have items in stock they ship priority mail the next day.

We do purchasing on a weekly basis, and as I had said we have had some massive server problems last month that shut us down for about 3 weeks. We are still recovering from that fiasco.

If you would take off all the negativity we would be happy to insure that those items are available to you. I dont know what else to do. This is not how we want things to happen and sometimes our vendor does not have things in stock and when we are out it just stacks up and looks bad on the customers end.

Some of these jets have a new volume consumption that was not there last year and in my opinion you guys are wiping out the industry volume from some sources.

I would appreciate another chance by you posting this message to the bashing thread to allow us the chance to tell our story as I have done. No we are not perfect. Yes we are in busy season. Yes our server crashed and set us behind. Yes we do give a darn about customer service. Tell us what to stock and we will stock it. We do this for a number of other model brand groups and they love us. See VL800 and VL1500 forums. All of your major dissatisfaction is because we did not know there was a volume need that you all have.

Sincerely

Robert,

Thank you for following up with my concerns. I was very upset at the time, I understand that everything can't go as planned all the time, i'm sure a server crash is detrimental to a online business. I appreciate the difference in the shipping fees being credited back to me, it is only fair. As far as my jets go, they were installed and started right up, there is a sputter and bogging at low rpm's, but i'm troubleshooting that over the last couple days, float heights, air mix screw, etc. Anyway, gstwin.com is a tight knit community of Suzuki gs500, alot of older bikes that have been maintenanced excellent as well as new models like myself. Information and incouragment has never been practiced on a forum like this one in my opinon, these guys are knowledgable and not hesitant to offer help in any situations. The demand for these jets as well as petcocks and other parts are in high demand for gs owners considering the low end nature of the stock versions, we are always upgrading and swapping out parts from not only other Suzuki's but other brands as well. So I will post the email so that the members can read it for themselves.
                                                                        Thanks,
                                                                                    Matt Hagel
