Yeah......on this side of the pond we don't refer to it as 'meth'.  Meth is shorthand for methamphetamine here, a generally homebrew drug that has become a SERIOUS problem.

don't get like my wife's brother, he's a pill and booze man;  my wife had outpatient surgery and out of no where he volunteers to pick up her prescription for her.   I'm sure he was going to skim  a couple pills, would probably have replaced some look a like in the bottle.   He's never volunteered to help with anything, but let there be some high powered meds involved and like he is to the rescue right?  Asswipe.   Luckily he found out that I was home and delivered the meds untouched that I can tell.   I bet that was a bummer for him.

ive had to do that before, and got into the habit, albeit time consuming, of counting EACh and every pill

Nazi's also Invented meth.It was used to Keep Soldiers going During Battle.When they Started Killing each other for it I guess they Kinda Figured that that wouldn't work.
