Seems funny to me but there are more people that ride like this than ones like me with full gear. Atleast that is how it seems here in SE Ohio.

I just noticed it looks like the bike has frame sliders. Atleast the bike will be safe.

Not to mention he's prolly never changed his own oil, his tires are 5-10 psi under, his chain has 2.5" of slack, never lubed, and the brake pads sound 'crunchy'. ;)

but hell, it will wheelie, so the ladies are all excited for him !

Yikes!

You know what bothers me even more than that though? Riders who take passengers that are wearing close to nothing. I was on the freeway yesterday and saw a guy (relatively geared up) with a girl riding 2up. She was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, sandals, and I could see the top of her freaking underwear (because the shorts were riding down and the shirt was riding up. Her safety gear was a helmet.

In my opinion, that's total :bs:!!!

A kid I mentor (she's in college now) wanted to know why I wouldn't take her for a ride on my bike. Aside from not being skilled enough to ride with a passenger yet, I told her that I won't carry a passenger who's wearing less gear than I am. Isn't that just common courtesy?

There's even a pink squid in the mirror....right next to "CLOSER".  Das funnie.

i've taken short rides (under 3 miles) before in flip flops, but I still at least wear a helmet. It's not a good idea, especially since the side case gets rather hot  :icon_lol:

It's funny you posted this.Today I was at a red light and across the intersection a sportbike rider had on flipflops! He had a helmet he has to in my state. He was on a 600 Honda.
Well, either you're part of the problem, part of the solution,...

I have also seen alot of guys with their passengers not wearing any gear. I always thought it was funny(odd) when the rider had on more gear than the passenger.
