this morning
i noticed my speedometer light was out ... so i go and by a bulb ...
i replace it ... it works! but then i notice my tach light is out!... good thing the bulbs are sold in pairs. so i replaced it.
then right away, my headlight doesn't work!!!!
WTF?
the highbeam works (so i guess i can drive around with highbeam), but no low beam ...

what's going on??? do i have an electrical problem?????

If the bike has been dropped recently it may cause bulbs to blow like that.Headlight suffers from constant jarring.I'd replace it and watch them.may just be corroded conectors.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

thanks ben2go ..
i repalce the bulb and see what happens.
i bought the bike used and have put about 1,200 miles on it but yes, it was dropped before i bought it but i haven't had any problems with it until yesterday.
literally within the one hour (with the bike up on the centre stand), these bulbs went OUT one after another.
i'll change out the bulb today ...

gonna stay with stock, i know the brighter bulbs look nicer but some folks speak of melted connectrs from the higher current thru the wires so i'll keep'er all stock for now.

thanks.

higher wattage bulbs are harder on the wiring, battery, and charging system.Staying with the same wattage and picking up something like a Silver Star bulb would help a little.Make sure that the bulb is either a motorcycle bulb or rated for high vibration. Some people have had problems with standard auto bulbs blowing quick.
