top speeds?

  hey you guys care to let me know what some of the top speeds  on your  GS500's  i've done 100mph  at 8000 rpms  i think it will do the 130 mph on the speedometer but haven't had the  chance to try it

Then you are one of the lucky ones.Mine is about 5mph faster.Top speed for me was 110 indicated so 105 actual.We have those nice speedar trailer sitting around that tells you your speed.Ours have cameras that take a shitty pic of you if you're running 5mph over the limit.

 :icon_confused:man that sux  with cameras in them we don,'t have those here and they only set the trailers up in busy parts of town so cant see high speeds on them

ya right around the 120 mark but i rarely bother.  after doing 200mph on my tlr the old gs just does not cut it

125 on a slightly downhill grade wind behind me with my buddy and his inline 4 gs550e cafe racer.  I'm guessing actually about 115-120 tops, but thats what speedo indicated.  It was with all my current mods but a 15t not a 14t sprocket.
