Well, I did it.

This afternoon I picked up my new/old GS500E.

I took it for a little run out of town and everything seems to work and behave just as it should..I think.

I am not keen on the white wheels (is this standard on a '92?), but they will change to black when I next get new tyres.

The Haynes Manual is on order, I am about to join the Ulysses Club, what next?

Maybe a tank bag, so I can carry my stuff to work?

Congrats!  

Great choice.  Now the mods can begin.  I'd think about the front forks first.  Prgressive springs and 15wt oil is a must.

Oh yea... The white wheels are standard.  I've got um on my 89, and both 94's.
