I wouldn't do a 190 for sure.140 is the easiest. Some 150's will work but please check with the tire manufacture to make sure it's rated for a 3.5 inch wheel.Pinching a tire on a narrow rim causes the profile to change and this can become dangerous in curves.

I agree.I have a 160-60-17 on a 4.5 inch Bandit600 wheel and it was a Buddha Loves You.I had to do a lot of machining to make it work.(Thanks dgyver)Not counting the parts swapping to get the brake to line up.If I had it to do over I'd find a wide 140 or a narrow 150.

No modification at all?

Kat wheel is alot easier than the B6 wheel. The center(hub area) is wider and requires a new inner spacer between the bearings. The rotor is a lot smaller in diameter so a 98+ Katana600/750 caliper bracket has to be used so the brake pads will completely contact the rotor. The brake side spacer has to be machined to center the caliper on the rotor.I had to space the sprocket carrier 3.5mm to gain tire to chain clearance. It sill lightly rubs the tire on right turns. I just had to have a 4.5 inch wide rear wheel that had swept spokes to match the front 88-97 Katana wheel(same wheel as GS).Couldn't live without the 160 tire.Had to do that cause a lot of people said it was to much.  :icon_rolleyes: I wounder what I'll run into doing a 6.25 inch TL/Busa wheel with a 200-55-17 tire in an 87-89 GSXR swing arm.I know I am going to have to space the front sprocket out. That's already been worked out.  :icon_mrgreen:
