Here is the wife's GS. After 2 years, I finally took pics of it today.

The good news is that I only have 3 things left to do to it .
First is to put on the front turn signals - I already have clear flushmounts for it, just have to drill for them.
Second is top lower it for my wife - need to fab some longer dogbones this week.
Third is to get rid of a small oil leak. Need to replace a gasket. Probably will wait until winter to do it. Not really causing a problem.

The bad news is that my wife really wants a newer Kawasaki Ninja 250 now. Her legs are really short and she loves the 250. So I either have to make her like this one more, or sell it and get her a 250.

David,

sweet looking bike, I hope ya can get your wife to like it because its far better looking than the Ninja 250  :thumb:
btw who makes that fairing?

That's the Airtech Titan. I had the factory Suzuki upper and lower (still have them) on the bike, but she liked the look of a full fairing.

has she ridden the 250?  she may like it better in the showroom, but if she rides it, she may decide she likes the gs.

Blah blah blah...

She hasn't ridden it, just is going off the feel of sitting on the bike. She rides extremely slow, so power and speed mean nothing to her. Only looks and ease of use.

The Ninja 250 requires a lot of revving to get it to do anything.  You think the GS has little torque?  Try the Ninja.  It is listed as having only 12 lbs. of torque compared to double that with the GS.  She might want to keep this in mind when shopping for one.  Most novice riders (especially ones that like to ride slow like you said she does) don't like to rev to 9-10K RPM to get it moving and into traffic.
