When I put mine on i put on a new chain as well.. But, I cut the new one the same as the old... it adjusts a bit further back, but there is still room to play with

I've only got up to about 85 on a crappy diamond grooved fwy on my 14t but only in 5th, I got a funky wobble from the grooves and so slowed down quick. We have no straight lines on smooth pavement with no traffic here. You should be able to go a lot faster than that. I had to tighten my chain was all, 14t fit fine.

Haven't really tested it since I installed it. I have had a couple extended runs at around 105mph real speed.
