Handlebar / Hand Controls - any possible swaps?

Hi all,

Has anyone swapped out their handlebar / hand controls with Kat controls, or any other model? Or an "intra-GS" swap between pre-2001s and newer models?

Any success stories or lessons learned would be appreciated!

I put on a Renthal Fat Bar, had to use some handlebar mount adapters to go from 7/8th to the 1 1/8th Fat Bar.

Katana grips are a huge improvement. In fact a few years ago it was all the rage.
Several people's sig's would have it, we were all entertained with tales of "How many gstwinners does it take to change to Katana grips" etc etc ...
Part by part all GS items should be replaced with some thing else, that's when you know you have the perfect GS.
