Bedding in new rear pads

My first time putting in new rear pads (EBC, I think?  Don't have the box with me).  Label says to take it easy for 250 miles to avoid glazing the pads or the rotor.

Any advice on how to do this?  I've been doing long, slow stops with a little bit of rear brake applied and the front applied very late.  How paranoid should I be?

Thanks,

Trev

Short, light pressure on the rear brake, even pulsing the rear brake. Dragging new pads will allow them to heat up and glaze without actually bedding in. Gradually increase pressure with use and bed them in!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
