So I stated earlier I was thinking about eliminating the exhaust can and going with turndowns, but I think I have decided against that. I drilled out (read mangled) the can last night, and it actually sounds pretty good. I didn't get as wild as what I've seen on some of the other posts, and fortunately I don't get that nasty little popping sound.  Thinking of getting some lowering links. Lookin to set 'er down about 2 1/2 to 3in or so, but I stay in louisiana (roads are GodAWFUL!), and am worried about bottoming out the fender on the wheel. Is this valid or am I being paranoid? Also gonna go with clubmans, but before I just go buy some, wanted to give someone on here a chance to put a little jingle-jangle in their pocket. One last question, if I got to a 14t front, roughly what size should I go with in the rear?
If so many things taste like chicken, how do we know what chicken tastes like?

You'll probably bottom out on the bumps if you lower it, also you'll reduce your cornering clearance by quite a bit lowering it 2.5-3 inches.  Also bear in mind that you'll change the steering geometry if you don't also lower the front. You'll increase the rake and trail which will lead to a bike that's harder to turn.
