Just got done putting new valves in, and replaced head and cylindar
gaskets. Cleaned all the carbon off. Took it apart orginially leaking head gasket.
Got the valve clearances dialed in. Replaced intake manifold gaskets.
Put it back together checked compression and got 150 psi on both.
Book says range 140 - 199 psi service limit 114.
Should I bother taking it apart replace rings and rehone cylindars or is
150 psi pretty good. Seems to max out at 100 mph. And can I recompress
gaskets, actually haven't started it yet.

I wouldnt be worrying...........150psi is within the figure laid down by Suzuki for an engine in acceptable condition. If it was below 142psi I would consider the engine to be starting to wear, and if it was below 114psi I would consider it in need of surgery!

A hone and new rings wouldnt do any harm but I doubt you would gain anything performance wise based on the figure you quote

basically, you would be a fool to touch anything, as everything is good  :icon_mrgreen:

Started it and ran it last night. Feels like a different motorcycle. Feels like
I have 20% more power than before. What I did I don't think would of
made that much difference. I guess the cam chain was off a sprocket or
something. Used to go up a hill on the freeway before and had to downshift
to fifth gear to keep it 75 or 80 mph. Today it ran 90 up the hill in
sixth gear. I think I leave it that way it is. Feels like a new bike (90 GS).
I'm happy now. Its a little scary of a bike now.
