Hello Friends,
after replacing the oil seal of the rightfrontfork for the fith time the leaking is back,..started dripping on my front disk again.
the leg looks okay, no dents no pits or scratches.
Ime a bit fed up with it now, replacing the leg costs about 300 usd...but will this resolve the problem definatif?
also the man said to stiffen the front springs a bit he will alter the tension with o-rings?
is this an alternative for progressive springs?

let me know guy's.

:( Sorry to hear about your continuing problems - I can understand why you are frustrated by now!

After 5 sets of fork seals, I think it's safe to say there is something wrong with the leg. Have you had the fork totally dismantled and measured for warping etc? I don't think you've ever posted any photos of the leak - they might help.

If you buy a new fork and new seals, that should fix it good!  :icon_mrgreen: It it were me, I'd still dismantle the old fork and determine the problem, just for peace of mind.

It sounds like he's describing adding a spacer to the fork springs. This is an alternative to the Progressive springs, but is generally described as being less satisfactory. There are many related threads, or you can read this for some info on the process:
