Ever since about a month after getting my GS I've been reading the 14t threads and drooling at the idea.  But as it's my first bike and I do 80 miles a day on the freeway, I decided I'd throw a 15t on first and see how that affected things, so today my 15t arrived (along with some new gloves) so I threw it on, adjusted/cleaned my chain and gave it a quick test drive.

The verdict: I like it.  I want more.

However I haven't gone to work and back with it so we're going to try that out before I consider a 14t.  Also I want to see how my gas mileage changes.  I've been getting 57-63 MPG since I got the bike, so I'll run along and see how it goes.

Now before I truly think about a 14t, Is it going to hurt the bike to do that for freeway riding?  I generally cruise reading 75mph, and there's a section where the speed limit goes up so I read 85 there.  Are there going to be any negatives other than decreased chain life and more noise?

Thanks in advance to those who know more about the GS than I.
