I just wanted to see if anyone knew a quick fix on rust spots.  The manufacturer missed some paint spots and it looks like it's resembling rust.  Would sand paper and some black primer do the trick?  It's just by the rear spring and up inside the front fork right behind the light housing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They painted it with water colors. You can almost paint it with anything else and it will be an improvement.
BTW people use wheel paint and its supposedly the schnitz. I like it too, except I am a powdercoating kinda guy ...
Cool.

You could sand and re-paint, but you could also  use a rust remover like Brassol or Astonish to remove the rust. Much less abrasive than sandpaper... then you can clean it with alcohol and then DUST it with paint... do like 1 or 2 SUPER LIGHT COATS and you should be good to go.

Dealer won't help you with stuff like that on a brand new bike?  :dunno_white:  At the very least, you'd think they'd provide you with the paint...

Thanks for the advice!!  I thought about calling the dealer but then I thought it's not worth driving for an hour to have them keep it for a week when I can do it myself in one afternoon.
