Does anyone have a good method for patching pinhole leaks in gas tanks?

I know of the kreem sealer kits and I've heard that you can braze them with solder.

Brazing seems like the best option at this point, so if anyone has any experience with this, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Thanks.

I have done POR 15, and the most important think I'd say is, dont get over zealous and leave a lot of POR 15 in the spot, or Kreem for that matter. The thicker the coating, the more it takes a life of its own and gets away from the wall. If the pin hole is in 1 spot with a not a lot of bad, thin spots all near it (aka an impossible situation) you can POR 15 it. If its got very rust eaten metal near it, it will cave under fluid pressure, or as you acid treat it. POR 15 or kreem can only coat the hole and stop leaks, it cannot take the place of structural strength.

An old man in the body shop I used to work at fixed a gas tank that way.

First drain the gas, duh.
Then rinse with water,  and fill up with water.
Grind the paint down to the metal with wire brush.
Braise holes, he actually used metal clothes hangers as the fill media.
Then gring flat use a little body filler so you don't cut too much off.
And finally repaint.

Make sure you leave the water in while your grinding, avoids sparks, and shows if its sealled. Remember gasoline will actually soak into the metal over time and even after the water is removed gas fumes can escape the metal. Anyways, Really turned out nice never could tell it was repaired. I would have never thought to use a hanger to braise but he said their actually stronger than most materials you'll buy, their easier to work with and alot cheaper. He also used them to weld up exhausts that would come in.. Leave it to the old geezers....
Current project:
Mmotos full body kit (YOU DONT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM... READ MY THREAD BOOT STATE UPDATE)
K&N Lunchbox
Buddah's jets
CBR F2 rearsets
Ducati pass pegs (Modified)
Kat rear wheel
Carbon Fiber Exhaust Can, possibly shortened and relocated
And so on......

That is how the welder I take stuff like this and aluminum etc etc does it, maybe with the exception of the water. But its no silver billet. I have seen plenty of disasters that have so much bad metal in the crap pocket that it is near about unfixable, or costs $300 to fix.
