Can anyone recommend mirrors that are a direct bolt on for a 2007 GS500F ? The one currently on the bike are fine shape wise its the length that I do not like if they were say half the length and roughly the same diameter they would look good on the bike and not stick out like a sore thump.

And if anyone knows of any that are a few inches longer I'd really like to know as my biggest gripe with this great little bike is not being able to see anything past my shoulders.

Bar ends. Either with a replacement bar, or a late-model bar (both open-ended) or modified for the early bar with screw-in ends. Some folks seem to like the super-cheap bicycle models, I like the moderately cheap (under $30 each) Napoleon black chrome motorcycle version - I have not installed a set on this bike as yet, partly from cheapness and partly from indecision about swapping out the bars, but I ran a set on my first bike after dumping it and bending the stock cruiser-type bar, which I replaced with a flatter bar - but the mirror perches were set up for a cruiser bar and the stock mirrors wound up in a very strange place.
